  • Two Mountains; One God
The wilderness journey continues as God's people move on from Rephidim and settle at the base of Mt. Sinai. It is a large, impressive, and intimidating mountain. There is thunder, lighting, quaking, and the loud blasting of trumpets. In that awe-inspiring and fear-inducing environment, God will meet with Moses and begin setting forth the conditions of the Old Covenant. If His people will obey Him, they will be His special people, a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, representing Him to the outside world. If they do not, they will surely die. In this passage, God not only continues guiding and providing for His people, He also continues revealing their need for a kind of deliverance that goes deeper than the natural realm. It is more significant than merely deliverance from Egypt. At the deepest level, they need deliverance from themselves, from their unbelief, and their own false confidence in their ability to save themselves. They need another mountain, different from Sinai, a mountain characterized not by distance and death, but by access and life. They need Mt. Zion where Jesus reigns supreme as the One who meets all the conditions, who provides full consecration, and who grants eternal life as a gift of grace. In the Exodus story, God is preparing them, and us, for this greater provision in Christ.

  • The Lord who laughs
This sermon explores Psalm 59, linking David's flight from King Saul to the broader biblical theme of God's deliverance for the innocent under pressure. The preacher highlights how God, as the Lord of Hosts and sovereign judge, laughs at the futile schemes of wicked enemies while remaining a steadfast defense for His people. By drawing parallels between David's experience, Jesus' ministry, and the believer's life, the message emphasizes that true safety comes from trusting in God's power rather than human strength. The text urges listeners to recognize their own need for divine rescue from sin and to find hope in God's ultimate justice and mercy. Ultimately, the sermon calls for praise and reliance on God as the only secure refuge against spiritual and physical threats.

  • Quiet Wisdom
The sermon contrasts the world's loud, self-centered forcefulness with the value of quiet, God-centered wisdom. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 9, it illustrates how true deliverance comes not from outward power but from humble insight rooted in the fear of the Lord. Jesus serves as the perfect example of this quiet wisdom, prioritising others and obedience to God over personal recognition. Believers are urged to pursue this wisdom through Scripture, prayer, and submission to the Holy Spirit rather than seeking worldly acclaim. The message concludes with a call to cultivate humility and earnest desire for divine understanding in daily life.

  • Jeremiah's Courage and Confidence
The sermon introduces the second major section of the Book of Jeremiah, contrasting the earlier focus on national dismantling with a new emphasis on hope and divine deliverance. It examines Jeremiah 26, where the prophet faces a death sentence for his temple sermon but responds with unwavering confidence in God's sovereignty rather than lamentation. The narrative highlights how God raises up unexpected helpers, such as officials and elders, to spare Jeremiah's life and prevent the nation from bearing the guilt of murdering a faithful messenger. This passage illustrates the multifaceted nature of Jeremiah's ministry, showing him as both inwardly compassionate for his people and outwardly stalwart in proclaiming God's word. Ultimately, the message encourages believers to trust in God's protection and purpose even amidst severe opposition and impending judgment.

  • Stephen's Defense - Part 2
This Bible study continues the study of Stephen's defense before the Sanhedrin by analyzing his historical argument regarding God's pattern of sending deliverers who are rejected by His people. The speaker traces this pattern through the lives of Joseph and Moses, highlighting how both men were initially dismissed by Israel despite being chosen by God for their salvation. By examining Moses' early life in Egypt, his flight to the wilderness, and his commission at the burning bush, the transcript illustrates that the Jewish leadership has consistently opposed those sent to rescue them. The central message connects this historical rejection to the current audience's rejection of Jesus Christ, identifying Him as the ultimate Deliverer. The preacher urges listeners to cease relying on their own righteousness and instead place their complete trust in Jesus for salvation.

  • God’s Intentions
He Brought Them Out… …To Bring Them In Has He… "He Brought You Out — to Bring You In" This message walks through the first five books of Moses to show the unfolding purpose of God: Genesis reveals His promises, Exodus His deliverance, Leviticus His holiness, Numbers the necessity of trusting Him in the wilderness, and Deuteronomy the call to remember and obey Him as His people enter the promise. In Numbers, Israel had been delivered from Egypt, organized around the tabernacle, and prepared to move toward Canaan. Yet when they reached Kadesh Barnea, ten spies trusted what they could see more than what God had said. Their unbelief turned an eleven-day journey into decades of wandering. Using Proverbs 16:3-4, Proverbs 14:12, and Proverbs 3:5–6, the message warns that what seems right to us can lead us away from what God says is right. Faith does not deny the giants, walls, or difficulties; it simply refuses to make them greater than God. Joshua and Caleb saw the same obstacles as everyone else, but they trusted the Lord who had already promised to fight for them. Exodus 6 provides the heart of the message through four great purposes of God: He delivers His people, gathers them around Himself, makes Himself known to them, and brings them into His promised rest. Israel's physical deliverance from Egypt also warns us that being among God's people is not the same as personally knowing Him. No one can borrow another person's faith. Every individual must personally surrender to Jesus, trust His finished work, and be born again. The message closes by showing that God's purpose has not changed. In Jesus, He brings us out of bondage to bring us into life, fellowship, obedienc

  • TERRORISM
This sermon reflects on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks to explore the biblical roots of terrorism, identifying Satan as the ultimate source who exploits human fear and lust for control. The speaker argues that wickedness and a lack of reverence for God leave populations vulnerable to manipulation through terror and political exploitation. Emphasizing the pervasive sin in society, including abortion and moral decay, the message calls for national repentance and a return to righteous living. Central to the argument is the gospel's power to deliver believers from the bondage of fear and death through faith in Jesus Christ. The sermon concludes with an urgent invitation to trust in Christ for eternal peace and salvation, regardless of future catastrophes.
