Delores Carter is the owner of The Learning Dog Academy in Whitmore
Lake Michigan. She has a certification in applied animal behavior from the
University of Washington, is a specialist in fear free training and also has
been certified to teach by The Karen Pryor Academy. Delores explains how
positive reinforcement training works, the difference between training and
understanding a dogs behavior and how that difference allows her to give
hope to owners that were at the end of the rope. Later she talk about
