The word "meditation" often conjures up an image of blissful enlightenment or maybe of peace and calm. But sometimes life is hard. In this episode, we go deep into a meditation that can meet us in our darkest moments and help restore our faith in humanity and, more importantly, in ourselves.
Let's have some fun! Meditation is not just about finding your center and sitting in stillness. It's also about training your brain to frame and reframe the world in a way that is very particularly YOU. In this episode, we work with a breath-guided visualization that lets your imagination run free and, if you do it for long enough, might even make you feel younger!
With your intention set in the first episode, it's time to dive right to the most basic form of Meditation: Body Awareness. In this episode, I have some useful information for you about the who, why, and how of Body Awareness, and how to be present with your emotions by forging a strong and tangible connection with your body.
We're kicking off 2020 with a little bit of intention setting and just a bit of information about why we encourage to break your meditation out of the box. In this episode, we focus specifically on the practice of sankalpa, or leading with the intention.
