Do not believe everything the media tells you about sharks. For more than 400 million years, these animals have ruled the oceans; thriving in icy waters and tropical seas alike, from kelp forests to coral reefs. Wherever you go in the ocean, chances are a shark is not that far away.Yet, sharks are often portrayed as mindless killing machines when the truth is far more complex and far more fascinating.
In this episode of GenSea, shark specialist Dr. Jenny Bortoluzzi joins us to reveal just how extraordinary these animals really are: powerful, intelligent, and surprisingly vulnerable.
