In this podcast, Seed's host, Magalie Valadier, shares the mic with Nicola Duffell, a Life Mentor + Grief Activist located in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, to unpick the journey of grief.
Said Magalie, "The topic of grief affects all of us and yet is so often misunderstood and carried in isolation. Nicola brings a profoundly creative and integrative approach to healing using a unique blend of poetry, energy work, soul healing and nutritional support to help individuals manage loss."
Said Nicola, "After years in the corporate environment, I now dedicate my work and my life to supporting people navigate this lifetime... to navigate those moments in life that bring us to our knees, where we feel we might break…. those moments of heartbreak and grief, losing a loved one, being diagnosed with a terminal illness, a relationship breakdown, supporting life’s initiations."
Nicola volunteers at her local Hospice, supporting in-patients, outpatients and carers to support people at the end of their lives. She delivers soulful, impactful programmes like Life’s Poetry and "advocates for a different way of being, one that requires us to unlearn, one that invites you into a deeper enquiry about how we live our lives."
Nicola works both in person and online and also runs a regular Good Grief Cafe in Hertfordshire, enabling people struggling with grief of all forms to come together, support each other and learn new ways to navigate this difficult journey. She is also in the process of writing her first book.
Nicola is also a BANT Registered Nutritionist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, a BodyMind Maturation Coach, ACC Executive and Organisational Coach, Reiki Practitioner, Writer and Speaker.
