The story of Tamar and Amnon is taken from 2 Samuel 13. Romans 1 vs 24-27 states that Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. May 29, 2020 Breaking free from Lust (Pt. 1)
1 John 2 vs 15-17 - Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Matthew 5:29- If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. This does not literally mean, gouging out your eyes but doing anything that you can to stop your eyes from causing you to sin. God hates sin and He wants us to do likewise. If we are sincere, we should be able to say the reason why we desire all this vain things is to build our ego and self esteem but this is not what is needed. God is enough for you and for me.
Deuteronomy 8 vs 18- And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. God loves you and wants the best for you, never forget that.

Ephesians 4:26- Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger. The Lord is calling on His children to search within themselves for their weaknesses so He can fix them as long as we submit it at His feet. The Lord is speaking deliverance into the lives of His children, be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Don’t be proud, humble yourself before the Lord and give Him a chance to mold you into your purpose fulfilling self.

Daniel ch 4 vs 28-36 The story of Nebuchadnezzar is one that teaches what happens to the prideful being. He was turned into an oxen and he ate with beasts in the fieldworker . God still rules in the kingdom of men so whatever you are today, it is really not by your power but by the Spirit of God. Allow yourself to be taught of the Lord, come down from your high horse and follow God who teaches us to love others and help lift them up so they can also reach their purpose. In humility we can conquer all because the Lord gives grace to the humbles and opposes the proud. This in itself is disastrous, therefore humble yourself today and turn from your wicked ways so you do not miss the coming revival. God bless you richly.

Envy and unforgiveness are vices that causes us to lock ourselves in a cage and we hold on to the key but we call on the world to help us because we are trapped. Hebrews 12 vs 14- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord
Colossians 3 vs 13- Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Luke 17 vs 4- And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
As a child of God it is important to forgive anyone who has hurt you whether it is a husband, wife, father, mother, brother sister or even friend. Jesus tells us to forgive whoever offends us no matter what. It takes grace to forgive, this is why it is important to have the Holy Spirit dwell inside of you for without Him, it would be hard to do the will of God. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?- 1 John 4 vs 20.

In this season it is important to understand that an end will surely come. The enemy may try but the Lord fights for HIS people. Therefore, at this point it is pertinent to recognize whose side you are on. Be in right standing with God, ask for mercy, repent of your evil ways and be baptized with water in Jesus name and in the Holy Spirit. 2 Samuel 24 will enlighten us a little bit about our current situation which will eventually fizzle away, it surely will not exceed the number of days it was sent to destroy.
