In this episode we chat about the pitfalls of blind loyalty - to a country or a brand - and why it's important to broaden our horizons and frequently explore outside our comfort zones. We rant about terrible drivers, the fact that the world has "gone soft" and we have some tough conversation on controversial topics. 

In this episode we welcome our first ever guest, Sukhan Dhesenutz! We discuss the toll on our mental health due to the pandemic of the past year, what we're doing to combat low moods and feelings of depression as well as our take on some of the negative sides of social media. We talk gratitude, and the importance of appreciating the moment and the journey; instead of just seeking instant gratification. 

In this episode we focus on a general theme of humility. We talk about today's culture of being super easily offended, comment on the recent riots at the U.S. Capitol and how the "me vs. you" mentality is getting in the way of working together.  We offer our take on how we can be better as human beings and how honesty and humility can help us in our relationships. 

In this episode we look at 2020 and the challenges we've all faced, the surprise benefits from life in lockdown, and discuss the tricky balancing act between human rights and pandemic restrictions that are for the "greater good."   We catch up with how Christmas went for us, provide commentary on the arrest of an outdoor hockey player in Calgary, the importance for all of us to think critically and intelligently, and talk about how much we love Espresso machines, for some lighter discussion.  

In our second attempt, better sound quality combined with better dialogue brings a vast improvement from our first episode!

We talk about Jeebus' new sailboat, home ownership & repair, the early struggles as a pilot, Canada's long dark winters, hoarding, rants about people on Kijiji and finally, phone scammers.  

This is our first ever podcast. We chat about the current (as of Oct 2020) state of the Canadian housing market, grouse hunting and a few other random topics.
