In this second letter, Toby writes to Charlie about a new friend, a baby owl he names Little Owl. He describes how she quietly followed him, her curious habits, and their attempt to help her reunite with her mother. Despite waiting for several days, the mother never appeared. A week later, Little Owl learned to fly, and Toby released her into the woods, hoping she would find her mother. Toby ends with optimism, believing Little Owl may have been reunited.
