Docent, investigadora, divulgadora, creadora. Professional eclèctica a l'ámbit de la cultura, l'art i l'ecologia, especialment interessada pels sons, el silenci i l'escolta. Lllicenciada cum laude en Conservació del patrimoni cultural i doctora en Història i anàlisi de les cultures musicals, des de 2002 es dedica a la investigació, documentació, divulgació i valorització del patrimoni inmaterial, especialitzant-se en recerca de camp, cartografies sonores, Etiòpia, cultures musulmanes, paisatge sonor i estudis sensorials. És docent de grau i màster a l'ESMUC i combina la docència iel treball de recerca amb projectes freelance d'educació a l'escolta i d'altres activitats culturals, científiques, académiques i artístiques.

Whether you like it or not things come to an end. This Sunday we will air the last Ruido Virico of the season. On this occasion, we are presenting a wide variety of singular proposals.

We'll start with Punta Laberinto a Spanish creator unfolding her expertise on modular synthesis and DIY instruments. The set comes accompanied by visuals from space exploration and deep space imagery.

From the deep space, we jump right on Buenos Aires, Argentina. We have the pleasure of receiving Luis Marte one of the key actors on the local experimental and electronic music scene in South America. Marte delivers a set encapsulating its pulsions and electronic landscapes.

From Argentina to Denmark with the Catalan Xavier Bonfill. This young creator has been a few years crafting its own intricate and digital sonic language. Without a doubt a hidden gem to discover.

From Denmark to Madrid. We are receiving again on Ruido Vírico the amazing Irene Ivankova. This time she comes with his debut album recently released on her own label. Drones, organs, and an abyssal descent into the depths of a dense and mesmerizing dark ambient.

Almost there, one more before we go. This time we travel to Japan with Sawako who's savoir-faire unfolds on three audiovisual capsules questioning aspects of attitude, site-specificity, and electronic music performance that we love.

Finally, we have the pleasure of exclusively present Anni Gulles a six-leg octopus with three heads that emerges from the underground like a weird and shapeless leviathan. The unnamable uses field recordings, neverending VCV racks, and strange pianos. Three different speeds, three-dimensional planes. An abomination. Guess what.

En la darrera edició de Ruido Vírico vam poder disfrutar de l'actuació de Shipwreck Detective, projecte principal del compositor i productor de San Francisco Devanand Addison Bhat. Ens va oferir un concert excel·lent, d'aquells amb una configuració molt ben pensada per a construir la seva música, gairebé artesanalment. Avui arrenquem el programa amb ell, escoltant temes de dos dels seus treballs, Rest, publicat al 2020 i Dark Forest, més antic, de 2013. Seguim amb Sarah Davachi i una peça de Five Cadences, treball editat al inici de la panèmia i realitzat amb un mellotron i un eco de cinta. Amb ella arribem a la segona part del programa, on tirem cap a peçes més rítmiques endinsant-nos a l'ambient-techno. Escoltem a Zaké, productor d'Indianapolis responsable de segells com Past Inside de Present i d'un estudi de gravació i mastering anomenat Kaleidoscope Tone Studio. Escoltem la seva col·laboració amb Low Howl i també la remescla d'una peça seva, realitzada per The Sight Below. Dos talls d'ambient techno clàssic. Tanquem el programa amb el techno profund de Infinity, des de la seva darrera referència al segell de Neferee.

Nací en Tenerife tres días antes de la caída del muro de Berlin. Actualmente, soy profesora ayudante doctora en la Universidad de Granada y colaboro con la Escuela de Cinematografía y audiovisuales de Madrid (ECAM). He sido profe en el máster de Industrias Culturales de la Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes, en la Universidad Internacional de Valencia y en la Universidad de Oviedo. Hasta julio de 2018 he sido investigadora posdoctoral del Servicio de Intercambio Académico Alemán (DAAD Forschungstipendiatin para los amigos).

Soy doctora en Filosofía por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (obtuve Cum Laude y derecho a una paella familiar) gracias a la financiación durante cuatro años de una ayuda predoctoral FPU del Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte. Estudié la licenciatura en Filosofía (Universidad de La Laguna), en Musicología (Universidad de La Rioja) y Máster de Teoría del arte y Gestión Cultural (Universidad de La Laguna). Tengo el Grado Profesional de violín y he sido miembro activo de orquestas jóvenes de Barcelona. Obtuve, en 2011, el Primer Premio en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades del Certamen Nacional de Investigación ‘Arquímedes’ convocado por el MECD. Como doctoranda, he realizado estancias de investigación en el Instituto de investigación social de Frankfurt a.M. y en dos ocasiones en la Akademie der Künste de Berlín. Participo habitualmente en congresos nacionales e internacionales. He escrito y escribo crítica cultural para Scherzo, Codalario, Culturamas, Núvol, ABC, La Opinión de Tenerife, Sul Ponticello, etc. y en mi propio proyecto, Cultural Resuena. Hablo español, inglés, alemán y catalán una mica pero amb molta gracia. Estoy aprendiendo andalûh.

Me apasiona enseñar y escribir, especialmente sobre lo que más me gusta en el mundo: la música y su relación con la cultura y el pensamiento. Leo casi todo lo que me cae entre las manos. Me encanta la pizza y la paella, canto decentemente bajo la ducha y me gusta cocinar bailando canciones de los 90.
