The Denver Broncos had an extremely disappointing start to the 2023 NFL season, especially in the first half of their schedule. Despite getting gradually better, the Broncos defense got off to a historically bad start through the first five games of the season. Offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey has had some hit-and-miss moments inside of the Broncos offense, and more importantly, the utilization of rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims has been head-scratching.
