Brian interviews Deon, who has been with New Life seven months. In January 2024 Deon got evicted for failure to pay rent. He then found New Life online and became part of the team. He had been abusing drugs and alcohol, which caused his problem with rent. First he went out to New Bloomfield, and the rural, serene life helped him get straight. He enjoys the morning Bible studies and being able to work.
