No NFL Combine Invite? No Problem. Derek was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2009 Draft and never looked back. He became an immediate starter for the Jaguars and intercepted Peyton Manning just a few plays into his NFL Career. Football was off to a blazing start as a professional athlete. 

This episode gets into the details of how Cox put together this rise and life since then. Particularly, when he navigated free agency and what he had to do to stay mentally engaged and sharp enough to carve out the career he had. Of course, we talk about life today where is a recent UCLA MBA grad and pursuing making a different with athletes on the contract advising/agent space.
