Derek goes to the book of Revelation to look at the root cause of the wrath of the Lamb, which is the general degeneration of human character. The particular aspect that is highlighted there is pride, and the main way for us to deal with it is through confession of our sins. Derek then discloses something else God hates, which is carnality.

Derek looks at three charges given by God through the prophet Isaiah concerning the inhabitants of the earth in the last days. They have transgressed the laws, they have changed the ordinance, and they have broken the everlasting covenant. The description of what happens next could be frightening if our trust were not in the Lord.

Today Derek speaks about Jesus’ story of the house that is built upon a rock. This refers to whether or not our lives have been built on His Word. Of the two houses, one was built on a firm foundation, and the other was built on sand. Derek then looks at what we can expect to be shaken: things like our families, businesses, governments, religious institutions, and finally the whole earth.

Derek begins this look at Scripture where God says He will shake all things. It is a time when all will be judged. On the basis of how we have lived, whether by sin or by righteousness, we will face the judgment of God administered by the Lord Jesus.

Derek looks at Scriptures that describe the "law of love" as being the royal law. When you truly love you will not break any commandment because you are obeying this supreme law of love. It is the perfect law because it contains all laws and gives liberty to those whose hearts are consumed with loving others.

In today’s session Derek looks at the kind of love we have for God—a love that is a decision we need to make, rather than an emotional feeling. It can be a personal decision or a corporate one where we all decide to love one another. And we are to love one another from a pure heart, fervently. This is only possible because we have been born of the seed of the Word of God.

Derek begins this message by looking at Jesus’ words to His disciples giving them a new commandment; to love one another. By this will all men know that we are His disciples. To love one another is not a choice, a suggestion, or a recommendation; this was a commandment. We can either obey it or be disobedient. This type of love lays down its life for those whom are loved.

After making sure Jesus is the center our lives, Derek gets to the answer of his original question. God is waiting for a special people that are taken from every single tribe, tongue, people, and nation who have been washed in the blood of Jesus and made Him their center. Until that is complete, He will go on in spite of all the wickedness and suffering, because His one supreme aim is a people for His Son.

Today Derek looks at our position in Christ that we justified. He gives instruction on how we are to purify ourselves by obedience to the truth, and then brings out the importance of our making Jesus central in our lives. In the book of Revelation He is in the middle of the lampstands which are the churches, and that is to be His position in us.
