What a year it's been for Dermot Kennedy - he smashed it at Electric Picnic, sold out two nights in Dublin's Olympia Theatre and has just announced a European Tour for 2019.

Fresh off the Olympia stage last night, Dermot Kennedy popped into The Fergal D'Arcy show today for a chat and live performance of his new single 'Power Over Me'. Ferg asked him when we might see his long awaited debut album, Dermot said that while he'll be working on it next year, "I'm not in a rush to do it, if I do it too early it could just die and pass me by!"
