The Israelites knew the Presence of God, even if they occasionally felt abandoned by Him. In today's passage, the nation is in shambles, stuck in a cycle of sin. They find themselves praying that God would return to rumble the mountains or show His power through fire yet once again. Lost in nostalgia, how do we respond?

What are you thankful for? Does love make the list? Is love what we do or who we are? There are so many questions ... In this message, we consider how we show thanks for the love we have been shown.

The parable of the "talents" or bags of gold is often used to suggest that people need to be volunteering for various tasks around the church. This message considers the trust that is placed in us by God. What are we doing with that trust? Are we thankful for it?
