Desert Island Comp

After a long hiatus, We Don't Know Wrestling is BACK with another Desert Island Compilation episode. For the fifth edition, we go through the comp of one of the premiere video essayists in wrestling, Joseph Montecillo. Joseph has been producing videos for years but recently released his largest project to date, an hour-plus-long video laying out his case for Daniel Bryan as the Greatest Wrestler Ever.

Running down Joseph's comp, we walk through his favorite wrestler of all time, past favorite wrestlers of all time, matches that were a turning point in his fandom, and wrestling that hits close to home. Join us for the ride.

Realizing as I'm typing this that I need to put the first four episodes of this series in the feed, Chris from IVP Videos joins me to talk about the matches he wishes to include on his Desert Island Comp. He is someone that if you have been a fan of wrestling for a certain period of time probably have bought DVDs from to watch some Japanese wrestling. So obviously his list is filled with Japanese wrestling? Listen to this week's episode and find out.

In the end, it is always Tanner. One of the hosts of the Match of the Week Club, Tanner, is being sent to a deserted island with only a disc of ten matches and three segments on hand. A disc that features surprises, violence, and an American hero.

Starting off a new series of shows here on the We Don't Know Wrestling feed! The Desert Island Comp series (working name) will have me sending off a wrestling pundit to a deserted island. The catch is, they get to take with them a compilation of up to 10 matches and up to 3 promos, angles, vignettes, etc.

The next person I am sending off to a deserted island is Quentin Moody, host of Psychology is Dead. We discuss his 10 matches and 3 promos/angles! We go through the wrestlers he is attached to, his origin story, and just good graps.
