I read a comment the other day on Facebook that said "the future looks hopeless".  I know times are tough, but nothing could be further from the truth. If the future, it looks hopeless, it's because you're looking through the wrong lenses.  We have nothing, but HOPE. Is the confident expectation that the future holds good things for us. And the reason we can have hope and always is because God is faithful!

If you feel overwhelmed, tired, stressed, burned out, Jesus is saying to you: come to me!  Give me your burden. 

I will take it from you and I will give you my rest. Give me your problems. Give me your concerns. Trust that I will take care of them for you, because I love you. I care for you!

God is gracious and He is righteous. Our God is full of compassion.

Grace reveals undeserved kindness, demonstrating love to a person who feels unloved and unlovable.

God's love for us is not based on how good a son or daughter is. He loves us (period), and nothing changes that.  And when we come to our senses, when we choose to return to him, he doesn't shame us. 

He doesn't lecture us, put us on probation. He receives us with open arms instantly and completely our return not only brings him joy.
