Today's episode is mostly about Carbon sequestration and Carbon Capture. We talk about why Rodger thinks his team has a very good chance at winning the XPrize for Carbon Removal. We also talk about his experience with BioChar. Biochar has become a bit of a trend and Rodger did a deep dive into making it on a large scale 20 years ago so I thought his take on it might be helpful. Spoiler: There are some big problems with using BioChar to capture and sequester Carbon ! 

After record highs all across the US this summer, we're exploring how cooling a desert like the one around the Salton Sea in Imperial County could not only cool southern California but also fix the water cycles and bring more rain to the desert.
