  • It’s Only a Thought
Norman Vincent Peele once said, “Change your thoughts and you change your world.” I believe that statement is true because our thoughts are powerful. They direct our beliefs and our actions. In today’s episode, I talk about how to achieve different results in your life by changing your thoughts.
Today on the Live. Love. Engage. Podcast:

    * What can happen when you keep thinking the same thoughts over and over again
    * Why you might want to rewrite your memories and how to go about doing it
    * The relationship between our thoughts and our perception

Gloria Grace Rand: [00:00:00] Namaste and welcome to live. Love, engage. I am Gloria Grace Rand. And today I want to talk to you about your thoughts. Yes. I want to share with you the importance of your thoughts because your thoughts create your reality. If you didn’t know that already, but I suspect you probably did, even though a lot of times, I think we don’t really necessarily appreciate just how true that statement is.
[00:00:45] If you think about the things that you think about in any given day, any given moment, what you say? There is power in your words. And I have a, I have a little card that I don’t even know where I got this from, but I keep it on my desk. And for those of you who are, unfortunately if you’re not watching the video and you won’t be able to see this card, but I’m going to hold it up right here. It says, “it is only a thought and a thought can be changed.”
[00:01:24] Why is that significant? Because sometimes the thoughts that we are holding onto are thoughts that deal with things that happened in the past and they don’t really serve us in the present. As an example, I’ve been doing some work recently on releasing some of the past hurts that I dealt with,

  • Using Stress to Your Advantage with Deb Lewis
The word “stress” often gets a bad rap as being something that is harmful. Business owners, professionals, parents, even kids, frequently complain about being “stressed out.” My podcast guest Deb Lewis believes and teaches that stress can be used to your advantage. She knows a thing or two about the subject because she is a military veteran who was at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001 as a member of the Joint Staff anti-terrorism team, when a plane crashed into the building as part of a coordinated attack on the United States.
This week on the Live. Love. Engage. Podcast:

    * Deb shares some common myths about stress
    * Learn how you can use stress more effectively in your life and business
    * Deb talks about her program to create Mentally Tough Women

  • Forgiveness and Self-Acceptance
Have you ever wondered why some things are so much easier to see and do for others than to do and see for ourselves? Take forgiveness, for example. I’ve found that it often seems easier to forgive others than to forgive ourselves.
Today on the Live. Love. Engage. Podcast:

    * Learn how forgiveness relates to your emotional growth.
    * Why we’re so hard on ourselves and how to practice self-acceptance.
    * Understanding and respecting our humanity, along with our inherent spiritual nature.

Gloria Grace Rand: Namaste and welcome to Live, Love, Engage. I am your host, Gloria Grace Rand. And today in today’s episode, I am going to be talking about forgiveness and self acceptance. And why both of these concept1s are important. Not only, not only important in a general sense, but important to you fulfilling your life’s purpose, for you to be able to live fully, love deeply, and engage authentically, which is the reason for this whole show. So I thought I would, I would start off today doing is sharing with you, Daily Word. And I am recording this actually, this is actually July 7th, so today’s Daily Word was forgive and the affirmation was forgiveness sets me free. So I’m going to read to you a little bit of this first off and Oh, for those of you who aren’t familiar, the Daily Word is a magazine that is put out by Unity.
And I’ve been a subscriber for, Hmm, geez, probably almost two years, I think now. And they have really great messages every day. So let me share with you what it says today about this concept about forgiveness. It says,

  • Being Your Authentic Self
I’m currently writing a book that is all about how to stop doubting yourself and start being yourself, and it’s also the subject of today’s podcast episode. This is an important topic for me because it’s something I’ve struggled with for much of my life. And I’m not alone. Being authentic is something many people struggle with because of old limiting beliefs about how we “should” behave. We wind up wearing masks (and I don’t mean literal masks to counteract Covid-19!), that wind up keeping friends, family, and clients at a psychological distance from us.
Today on the Live. Love. Engage. Podcast:

    * Why being yourself can be risky, even though it’s important.
    * What “A Course in Miracles” has to say about releasing the past.
    * How your beliefs affect your present circumstances.

Gloria: Namaste and welcome to Live. Love. Engage. I am Gloria Grace Rand, the Insightful Copywriter and your host. And today I want to talk with you about a couple of things: releasing the past and also about authenticity. And being our authentic selves and why that sometimes is a struggle. I’m going to actually scooch over a little bit here. Sorry. For those of you listening. I was sitting in, I’m sitting in my office and I was watching the video and realized that my head was blocking a picture of a lovely beach scene on my wall. But all you saw with this little corner of the frame sticking out of my head and I decided I didn’t like that.
So, yeah, I wanted to talk about authenticity and. And also how sometimes the past can prevent us from really stepping ...

  • Dream and Grow Rich with Allen Brown
Are you familiar with the book, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill? Or perhaps “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles? Both of these books (which I’ve read and highly recommend!) are based on the premise that our thoughts create our reality. And that by holding a vision of what we want, and having faith that it is on its way, we can manifest whatever we want.
Today’s podcast guest is the living embodiment of that philosophy, having started from humble beginnings on a farm in Michigan, to making his fortune in Colorado and California. In this episode, real estate investor and author Allen T. Brown explains how he turned $12 into $30 million, and continues to prosper today.
This week on the Live. Love. Engage. Podcast:

    * Allen explains why he believes nothing is impossible
    * Learn why it’s important to understand the power of your own thoughts
    * Discover how you can achieve more in your life by trusting your intuition
    * Why Allen relies on his spiritual advisors to reach his goals

  • Releasing the Past to Focus on Joy
Almost one in five adult Americans, or roughly 18%, lived with an alcoholic while growing up, according to the National Association for Children of Alcoholics. I’m one of those Americans. • Compassion and Empathy for All
The last two weeks have seen a dramatic increase and shift in awareness about racism in the United States, and around the world. This week’s funeral for George Floyd, the black man who was brutally murdered by a Minneapolis police officer, was live streamed around the world by major news organizations.
I believe George Floyd’s death will not be in vain because it has awakened the world to the plight of black people, and other people of color. And perhaps, meaningful change that will positively impact the lives of people everywhere will finally be implemented.
For any concrete change to happen, however, we need to practice compassion and empathy for all people – no matter what their race, color, national origin, sex, or religion. I share some tips on how to do just that in today’s podcast episode.
Thank you so much for listening!
