We were created for intimate relationships with God and one another. Yet, many of us struggle with closeness because of past wounds, sin, and disconnection from God. In John 15, Jesus shows that true intimacy begins with abiding in Him. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit unless it remains connected to the vine, we cannot produce healthy love apart from Christ. As we remain connected to Christ, He brings healing to our hearts and restores our ability to love others.
