We live in the “already but not yet” of God’s Kingdom. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has defeated the serpent and secured redemption. Yet the world still waits for the day He returns to fully restore all things. God promises to renew creation, bring heaven to earth, dwell with His people, and remove everything that causes pain, loss, and death. This future hope is not meant to make us passive, but purposeful. It shapes how we live now: faithful to Jesus, hopeful in suffering, and committed to God’s mission in the world.

The story of God begins with creation. God blessed and provided mankind with everything needed for them to thrive in perfect relationship with Him and one another. He called man to be stewards of God’s creation, filling it with goodness. Sadly, everything went from “very good” to very bad rather quickly. Rather than ruling over the earth, they became ruled over by sin when they gave in to Satan’s temptation. They rebelled against God, severing healthy relationships with one another and with Him.
