God’s Word brings hope into hopeless situations. Ezekiel 37 was spoken to the people of God at a time
when everything seemed lost. Jerusalem was occupied, the Temple was destroyed, and the people
were exiled and enslaved. They described themselves as having “no hope” and being “cut off.” Yet
God showed Ezekiel a vision of a valley filled with dry bones and asked, “Can these bones live?” The
vision revealed that with God there is always hope even in seemingly dead situations.
