Galatians 5.16-26

There is a real battle that occurs inside each and every follower of Jesus. There is old way of operating and a new opportunity presented by the Spirit of God. Paul outlines the deeds of the flesh and fruit of the Spirit and appeals to the reader to desire the Spirit and what He wants to do in our lives. There is a putting to death of our old selves so that we can live for the Spirit. But we can’t live for both the flesh and the Spirit at the same time.
