Most people enjoy solving a mystery, especially if it has some extraordinary surprises.  The Church, as defined by Christ and revealed to Paul in Ephesians 3, is really "out of this world!"  There may be a few eye-openers in this message, but it is only for those who will listen.

Ephesians 2 is wonderful to read.  Let me tell you; it's even more powerful when digging deeper to understand the historical context of the letter and hear Christ's impression of this Church.  The letter reaffirms the liberty believers have in Christ; and, causes us to reflect on what Christ might say about our faithfulness to the Holy Spirit.  If you want to be encouraged during these very challenging times, and you want to draw closer to the LORD, I believe God's Word to us in this message will accomplish what is needed!

The fear of the LORD is such a delightful pleasure!  It is the very quality that creates intimacy with the One who loves us the most.  Yet so many believers do not understand that the fear of the LORD produces the highest level of love and devotion.  It is one of the means to live a life of victory through the Holy Spirit.

What evidence exists to prove this is necessary for an intimate relationship with God?  What is your thoughtful estimation of God? So how does one develop the fear of the LORD?  Can one know God without it?

It seems as though truth, justice, love and values are viewed differently by so many people.  It can be very challenging to know how to properly stand firm for the Christian faith while demonstrating love and compassion to those who do not share the same biblical values.  An outpouring of God's love from within us coupled with respect for all people is of paramount importance to our witness.  So is righteousness!  To cross the finish line faithfully and fruitfully, we cannot compromise what the Word of God says.  

This blog will address all of this based on Scripture. It is better to be found acceptable of the LORD; our eternity depends on it!  Also, it is impossible to please all individuals.

Sometimes we can focus on the wrong questions.  Throughout Scripture, we are reminded to keep our eyes on the LORD.  This podcast is dedicated to any person who wrestles with fear over losing their salvation; or to the one who believes their free will can lead them into permanent destruction even if they have entered a covenant relationship with Him.  The question is not about the strength of a human being's free will.  The question is not whether the LORD permits choices (because He does).  The question is not about where you are in your development with Him (although we should be ever-growing).  The question is whether God has the power to keep His elect from falling.  The answer to this is in His character.

Let's take a look at both the Old and New Testaments to comprehend what His vow means.  It just wants to make me worship more!

This period of time has its challenges, and for the follower of Jesus Christ, this is the age of great opportunity.  The word "no" seems to be prevalent in this season of quick solutions, 30-character sound bites, abundant limitations, and pleasing the most vocal.  Scripture provides clear evidence that God, the unchanging Sovereign, has ordained a "Yes and Amen" over His purposes for our lives!  It's just a matter of time and trust.  So, who told you no?
