Cs: V prašném vzduchu zničené Prahy, slunce nemilosrdně pálilo na zdevastované budovy.
En: In the dusty air of devastated Prague, the sun mercilessly burned down on the ruined buildings.

Cs: Všude kolem byly trosky, povalující se kusy rozbitých domů a pomalu bující příroda, která se snažila převzít vládu nad městem.
En: Debris was scattered everywhere, pieces of broken homes lying around, and nature slowly thriving, trying to take over the city.

Cs: Radek a Jana kráčeli po zpola zarostlé cestě, oči neustále ve střehu.
En: Radek and Jana walked along the partially overgrown path, their eyes constantly alert.

Cs: Radek vzdychl, když opatrně odstranil pavučinu prachu z obrazovky starého počítače.
En: Radek sighed as he carefully dusted off the old computer screen.

Cs: "Musíme najít jídlo, Jano," řekl a podíval se na svou mladší sestru.
En: "We need to find food, Jana," he said, looking at his younger sister.

Cs: "Nemůžeme čekat.
En: "We can't wait.

Cs: Mám plán.
En: I have a plan.

Cs: Půjdeme hlouběji do města."
En: We'll go deeper into the city."

Cs: Jana kývla, ale v jejích očích byl strach.
En: Jana nodded, but there was fear in her eyes.

Cs: "Bráško, je to příliš nebezpečné.
En: "Brother, it's too dangerous.

Cs: Měli bychom zůstat tady.
En: We should stay here.

Cs: Co když narazíme na další skupinu scavengerů?
En: What if we encounter another group of scavengers?

Cs: Nebo co když tam jsou mutanti?"
En: Or what if there are mutants?"

Cs: Radek si klekl k ní a chytil ji za ramena.
En: Radek knelt beside her and grabbed her shoulders.

En: "We have to try.

Cs: Nemůžeme se schovávat navždy.
En: We can't hide forever.

Cs: Potřebujeme lepší zdroj jídla."
En: We need a better source of food."

Cs: Přesvědčoval ji, ale v hloubi duše chápal její obavy.
En: He tried to persuade her, but deep down, he understood her fears.

Cs: Věděl, že pokud selžou, jejich přežití bude ještě těžší.
En: He knew that if they failed, their survival would be even harder.

Cs: Ale také věděl, že nemají na výběr.
En: But he also knew they had no other choice.

Cs: Krátce poté se oba vydali do hloubi města.
En: Shortly after, they both made their way deeper into the city.

Cs: Opustili známé okolí a kráčeli mezi většími zříceninami a vyššími budovami.
En: They left the familiar surroundings and walked among larger ruins and taller buildings.

Cs: Cesta byla náročná a museli být neustále na pozoru.
En: The journey was arduous, and they had to stay constantly vigilant.

Cs: Když dorazili k derelickému supermarktu, vypadalo to jako jejich nejlepší naděje na jídlo.
En: When they reached a derelict supermarket, it seemed like their best hope for food.

Cs: Radek opatrně otevřel dveře.
En: Radek carefully opened the door.

Cs: Zatuchlý vzduch naplnil jejich nosy.
En: The stale air filled their noses.

Cs: "Jano, buď opatrná," špitl.
En: "Jana, be careful," he whispered.

Cs: Pomalu prošli mezi regály, kde ještě zůstaly zbytky šedivých konzerv.
En: They slowly walked between the shelves, where the remnants of gray cans still lingered.

Cs: Najednou uslyšeli křik.
En: Suddenly, they heard a shout.

Cs: Radek se okamžitě otočil.
En: Radek immediately turned around.

Cs: Před nimi stála skupina nepřátelských scavengerů.
En: Standing before them was a group of hostile scavengers.

Cs: "Co tu chcete?"
En: "What do you want here?"

Cs: zahnali se, ozbrojeni skleněnými úlomky a rzí pokrytými noži.
En: they snarled, armed with glass shards and rust-covered knives.

Cs: "Jen trochu jídla," odpověděl Radek klidně, ale pevným hlasem, drže pevně Janu za sebou.
En: "Just a bit of food," Radek replied calmly but firmly, keeping Jana securely behind him.

Cs: Jedno z postav se vrhla vpřed, a Radek jim šel v ústrety, ochránit svou sestru.
En: One of the figures lunged forward, and Radek moved to meet them, determined to protect his sister.

Cs: Mezitím Jana rychle sebrala pár konzerv a vložila je do svého batohu.
En: Meanwhile, Jana swiftly grabbed a few cans and stuffed them into her backpack.

Cs: Radek klesl na kolena, na paži měl hlubokou ránu.
En: Radek fell to his knees, a deep wound on his arm.

Cs: Jana popadla jeho ruku a ve spěchu ho táhla ven.
En: Jana grabbed his hand and hurriedly dragged him out.

Cs: "Musíme pryč!"
En: "We have to get out of here!"

Cs: S obrovským úsilím se dostali ven z budovy.
En: With tremendous effort, they made it out of the building.

Cs: Uchváceni sluncem kráčeli, dokud nebyli v bezpečí mezi stromy.
En: Bathed in sunlight, they walked until they were safely among the trees.

Cs: Radek si sesedl, bolestně vydechl.
En: Radek sat down, exhaled painfully.

Cs: "Potřebuju se zotavit," zamumlal.
En: "I need to recover," he muttered.

Cs: "Musíme najít pomoc."
En: "We need to find help."

Cs: Jana se podívala na svého bratra s odhodláním, které nikdy dříve necítil.
En: Jana looked at her brother with a determination she had never felt before.

Cs: "Ne.
En: "No.

Cs: Já to zvládnu.
En: I'll handle it.

Cs: Najdu někoho, kdo ti pomůže.
En: I'll find someone to help you.

Cs: Zůstaneš tady, já se postarám o vše ostatní."
En: You'll stay here, I'll take care of everything else."

Cs: Jana odešla a Radek sledoval, jak její záda mizí mezi stromy.
En: Jana left, and Radek watched as her silhouette disappeared among the trees.

Cs: Po hodinách čekání se Jana vrátila s lékařem, který se ukázal být přeživším z jejich staré čtvrti.
En: After hours of waiting, Jana returned with a doctor, who turned out to be a survivor from their old neighborhood.

Cs: Radek si uvědomil, jak silná jeho sestra v ten okamžik byla.
En: Radek realized how strong his sister had been at that moment.

Cs: "Děkuju, Jano," zašeptal, zatímco lékař začal jeho ošetřovat.

Cs: Radek si uvědomil, že musí věřit svým blízkým, a Jana objevila svou vnitřní sílu.
