Desperate Attune

In which the crew arrange a clever plan to ambush Mushfiq's rival, and everything goes as smooth as a baby's bottom. Really.

In Bundervest, landless immigrants from Kethrys are barely eking out a living. Alkader Ankhattam, local community leader and fashionista, has come into possession of an envelope that contains the answer to all of the problems the Kethrysi face. Unfortunately, other people want their hands on the envelope too. So he comes to the only people he trusts to protect the letter: the ramshackle remnants of the Rising Moon Sword School.

We're back, friends!

Launching right into Season 2 of Desperate Attune, we're calling The House of Endings. This is the first part of session zero, where we introduce ourselves, the RPG Blades in the Dark, our characters and the themes of the season. Blades veterans will know that there's more prepwork that needs to be done to play the first session, so our next episode (recorded a week after this one, chronologically speaking, but releasing on the same day) wraps up the process with crew creation.

This is not an episode of the show.

In the finale of 'A Candle, a Blaze', we all read b: william bearhart's 'No More Fire Here: A Sestina' in character. The episode ends with a medley of all our readings.

This then are the five readings in full, back to back.
