Desperate Pastor Podcast

We've all been there - that point of giving up in our position.  Today, we discussed why pastor's quit and our reactions to a list of reasons why pastor's decide to leave.

On today's episode we responded to the idea of "pastors" saying that Jesus isn't returning because people aren't giving enough money, then we shifted to God is not calling you into a personal relationship and wound it down with discussions on Halloween. Today we took the time to answer some questions from previous episodes that we had mentioned, but never got back to: why membership in a church?  What community outreach works?  How have we been successful and failed at reaching the community?  And, what bumper sticker would you get for your car.  Join in the conversation!

Today we had two more guests join us for a discussion on worship and the church!  Thanks Larry and Dave for joining in the conversation!

On today's episode we discussed accountability among pastors in churches, a little bit about covid and game shows and famous people (who Nate doesn't know). :)

We kicked off season 2 of the Desperate Pastor Podcast with a significantly-sized special guest!  We also discussed church experiences and catching up!

In episode 33 we dove into the Purity Culture - the good, the bad and the ugly.
