Join us as we close out our series “Better Together”. We’ve talked about Connecting, Growing and Serving as vital for every Christian. But how do we live these things out when life gets messy? How can we be qualified to love others, when we’re not even sure if we like ourselves at times? How do we know God is changing us into what He wants us to be? As the saying goes: “Change is inevitable” if that’s true, why do so many of us struggle with changing things about ourselves? This week we continue in our “Better Together” series and discover that the Bible has a lot to say about change. How do we make lasting change in our lives and what does it have to do with other people?

One of the best ways we can show God we love Him is by serving others. When we join with other believers to serve people’s needs we reflect God’s love and compassion to those who need it most. Acts 2:42-47 shows we’re better together when we serve. Jesus gives us a few simple steps that are easy to follow, no matter where we are.

In life, what we believe about ourselves can hold us back from our full potential. We’re not made to walk alone as followers of Jesus. When we hold back from diving into relationships we will never grow to be what God wants us to be.
