Wassup survivors!! Let's get into this lil diddy that came out at the top of the 90s to minor reviews but has since become a cult classic especially amongst our community.
Joel, a quiet divinity student from North Carolina, starts to question his faith. So he heads to New York to visit his friend K, who left the church to become an actor, who takes him out bar-hopping. They meet a gorgeous seductress who turns out to be a succubus, a demon spirit luring black lotharios to their deaths. When she sets her eyes on Joel, K turns to the help of Dougie , an undercover cop who has taken this case into his own hands.

June 12, 2021 030 - Tales From The Crypt: DEMON KNIGHT (1995) | Welcome to the Cookout
Wassup Survivors! Y’all still having a good time at the cookout like so like that? Mmhmm good. Well I think y’all gon enjoy this one as we’re discussing TALES FROM THE CRYPT DEMON KNIGHT! Here’s a lil breakdown, Ex-soldier Frank Brayker (William Sadler) is the current Demon Knight, guardian of an ancient key that can unlock tremendous evil; the sinister but charming Collector (Billy Zane) is an ADVANCED demon who wants the key so he can initiate the apocalypse. On the run from wicked mercenaries for almost 90 years, Brayker finally stops in at a boarding house in New Mexico where -- with the help of its quirky residents -- he plans to face off against the Collector and his band of ghouls, preventing them from ever seizing the key.

Wassup survivors! Happy Pride Month and WELCOME TO THE COOKOUT!!!
Per our new theme we're riding a few movies that are essentials among black horror fans, of course there were a handful to choose from but first off, Tales From The Hood directed by Rusty Cundieff.
A rather sus but creepy mortician, Mr. Simms tries his hand at scaring a trio of dealers by telling them four horrendous stories. Although the trio just wants to get "the sh*t" and leave, Mr. Simms has more in store.
