In ‘Destination Anywhere’ Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Asian travel expert Lucien Lau from luxury tour operator Scott Dunn. Lau will describe what it’s like traveling around Yunnan province – discovering its national parks; the Stone Forest UNESCO World Heritage Site; walking through the cobblestone streets of Lijiang Old Town; and visiting the alpine city of Shangri-La. Lau then takes us to Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province, where he recommends three experiences: participating in a Panda Keeper Volunteering Programme, visiting the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, and watching a traditional Sichuanese Opera.
