On our way to MI than WI to join one of Carol's Instagram friends. Fun times around WI. Enjoying "Beyond Van Gogh Experience! Come on along!

Join us up in Michigan to visit our daughter and family who live in Royal Oak.

First up there will be a hike at a nature walk in Rochester, MI.

Next day we have a private Detroit tour, guided by our son-in-law. See beautiful downtown architecture. Learn about Detroit's past. Also see the monument honoring the underground railroad and Detroit's involvement. We visit GM RenCen (General Motor's Renaissance Center) *Sorry could not go inside due to COVID restrictions :-(

We finish off this episode with our grandson's high school graduation and a trip to "7 Lakes State Park".... where Carol sees SWANS!!! She loves swans. We take a short hike in the rain.

Stop at KP Hole park along the river, then come with us to the charming Airbnb, "Sherry's Place", A bunkhouse overlooking a 10 acre Horse Farm!! Lots of wildflowers on this trip!!

Next day head up to Rainbow Springs. Walk through the beautiful grounds and take a canoe trip down Rainbow River.

But the day is not over......surprise for Steve and Carol (and drone) at the end.

CO Part 2. Stroll through the Garden of the Gods, see the gold rush town of Cripple Creek, with their wild donkeys. Walk across the famous Royal Gorge suspension bridge...on a windy day and more! And oh yeah, go by car over the thrilling Skyline Drive in Canyon City. Yup...the one Carol hates :-)

Colorado is where Carol and I met in 1968 so there is a lot of history! :-) Bonus: Come along and see what the Leadville, CO mystery is???!!

Victorian Airbnb, Historic neighborhoods, Georgia Queen River Boat, and Wormsloe with its 400 Live Oak trees!
