Our world is full of uncertainty. There is so much pain and sorrow in our world. From financial problems, to health issues, to pandemics, family troubles, and many other ways suffering is present in our lives. How do we deal with all this as followers of Christ? In this first message of our “Not Alone” series, we dig into God’s word to see that God is with us here on earth and promise to be with us for eternity.

Nuestro mundo está lleno de incertidumbre. Hay tanto dolor y pena en nuestro mundo. Desde problemas financieros hasta problemas de salud, pandemias, problemas familiares y muchas otras formas en que el sufrimiento está presente en nuestras vidas. ¿Cómo lidiamos con todo esto como seguidores de Cristo? En este primer mensaje de nuestra serie "Yo Estoy Contigo", profundizamos en la palabra de Dios para ver que Dios está con nosotros aquí en la tierra y prometemos estar con nosotros por la eternidad.

Good news! If there is something our world needs right now, it is good news. We are being attacked by bad news, and this affects us not only emotionally, but also physically and spiritually. But just as bad news pulls us down, good news pushes us up. The good news brings us hope, energy, encouragement, joy, and peace. How can we stay positive, surrounded by so many negative things? How can we bring good news to others? In this message, we are learning how to receive and share the Good News of hope in a chaotic world.

¡Buenas Noticias! Si hay algo que nuestro mundo necesita en este momento son buenas noticias. Estamos siendo asediados por malas noticias, y estas malas noticias no solo nos afectan emocionalmente, pero también físicamente y espiritualmente. Pero de la misma manera que las malas noticias nos tiran para abajo, las buenas noticias nos impulsan hacia arriba. Las buenas noticias nos traen esperanza, energía, ánimo, alegría y paz. ¿Cómo hacemos para permanecer positivos rodeados de tantas cosas negativas? ¿Cómo podemos llevar buenas noticias a otros?  En este mensaje, estamos aprendiendo cómo recibir y compartir las Buenas Noticias de paz y esperanza en un mundo caótico.

Sometimes we emphasize so much the importance of personal faith that we forget that it was designed to be public. God not only invites you to believe, He calls you to belong. God created you to live your faith in community!

Unity is Diversity. We are not one because we are the same. We are one because we have a common goal. As a matter of fact, we could not achieve that goal if we weren’t different. For Christians, service is not optional. It is the heart of the Christian life. Jesus came "to serve" and "to give," and those two verbs can also define your life on earth.

Unidad es diversidad. No somos UNO porque somos iguales. Somos UNO porque tenemos un meta en común. De hecho, no podríamos lograr esa meta si no fuéramos diferentes. Para los cristianos, el servicio no es opcional. Es el corazón de la vida cristiana. Jesús vino «a servir» y «a dar», y esos dos verbos también pueden definir tu vida en la tierra.

On Social Media, on the news, everywhere we hear a lot about justice. But, What does God have to say about justice? Could it be that God cares about injustice in the world?

En las redes sociales, en las noticias, en todas partes escuchamos mucho sobre la justicia. Pero, ¿Qué tiene que decir Dios sobre la justicia? ¿Podría ser que Dios se preocupa por la injusticia en el mundo?

We are heartbroken at the racial injustice that has plagued our city for too long. We need healing, justice, and unity now more than ever. Injustice and inequality are hurting our city and our communities, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).  But amid everything that's going on, there is HOPE. We are coming together to make a difference in our city. And in just a matter of days, we were able to help hundreds of families. For that, I say THANK YOU!  Join us ONLINE to learn more about what we are accomplishing and about other opportunities to serve our city. Together we can do even more!

Estamos desconsolados por la injusticia racial que ha plagado a nuestra ciudad durante tanto tiempo. Necesitamos sanidad, justicia y unidad ahora más que nunca. La injusticia y la desigualdad están dañando nuestra ciudad y nuestras comunidades, pero el Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón (Salmo 34:18).  Pero en medio de todo lo que está sucediendo, hay ESPERANZA. Nos unimos para hacer una diferencia en nuestra ciudad. Y en cuestión de días, pudimos ayudar a cientos de familias. At Destino there are more than 15 nations represented. We are primarily  an immigrant community. And we are here because we love this city and  believe that God brought us here with a purpose. (Jer. 29: 7) We have  been called to ...   

We are in the midst of great tragedy on many levels. The path to healing  begins by taking time to process our emotions in a healthy way. In  these hectic times with such raw emotions, we cry out for the peace of  our city.
