This week, Pastor Jeff finishes our series "God Of Our Fathers" with our final message: The God Who Defines Us.

Through Abraham, we've seen God's grace. Through Isaac, we've learned that the testimony of others can inspire us, but we must trust God for ourselves.

Now we turn to Jacob, a man whose life was marked by striving, mistakes, and struggles. Yet god remained faithful, reaffirming his identity and His promises.

Our past does not have to define us. Our identity is found in who God says we are.

This week, we looked at Genesis chapter 26; specifically at Isaac.

Isaac was a man who stepped out of his father’s shadow and chose to trust God for himself. This story highlights how personal faith requires personal obedience, and that we each need to answer the question, "Where do I need to trust God?" for ourselves.

This Sunday, we began a new series: "God of Our Fathers".

Over three weeks, we'll journey through the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Their stories are filled with faith and failure, waiting and struggle; through every generation, God remains faithful.

The first part of this series focused on Abraham. God's covenant relationship with Abraham began not because Abraham ha earned God's favour, but because God graciously called him.

And that same grace is still at work in our lives today.
