We paused this Sunday from our Seven Letters series to address an issue that the Lord has been putting his finger on in our midst. On the cross you were reconciled to God. He not only reconciled you but is reconciling your history, your ancestry and every component of your story with your new identity and redeeming it for your destiny. Therefore, we must renounce regret over past seasons to fully embrace what Jesus is doing with us now in this moment and where He is leading us. The enemy wants to cause us to dwell in a sorrow that Paul calls "worldly grief". This kind of grief or sorrow produced death. How does it produce death? It keeps us from moving forward in our God designed destiny. Regret is designed by the enemy to stall you out in your journey.

In Christ, God has reconciled our history and is using it to launch us into our destiny. Satan is sowing seeds to try to steal, stall it out and supplant it with regret, bitterness and jealousy. It's time to renounce regret, uproot bitterness and refuse jealousy!
