Detox Diaries

Spending so many years being sick, for Carol, sick became her identity.  

Going from one doctor for this symptom, to a specialist for that symptom, to yet another specialist...for yet ANOTHER symptom, she spent the equivalent of a full-time job in doctor’s offices and “the best” examining rooms, and still her body continued to spiral downward with no relief. 

She recognized that if she were to ever get better, she'd have to find the solution on her own.  So, diving deep into the study of healing, she went to school to earn formal degrees and then continued with post-graduate certifications in nutrition, digestive health, detoxification and the study of human potential, with good old-fashioned trial and error to find the gold she needed to feel good again.  Carol spent the last 25 years putting health, healing, energy and vitality under a rigorous, probing lens.   

—> She learned that traditional medicine all but overlooks how food impacts our digestive health, and how a breakdown in any one of the digestive processes impacts the state of our overall health and… the quality of our lives!

Growing up with bad allergies, Beth was used to visiting doctors.  But in 1986 she got the "Mexican Bug" and that sent her straight to the hospital. She was given all kinds of drugs and had to be hospitalized many times.  She's dealt with tons of sinus problems and has had surgery 3 times to attempt to correct this issue.  

She's struggled with her weight most of her life and has to avoid many of her favorite foods... 

"I eat no junk food at all; only get fat off fine, fresh foods! I detox for weight loss and it works great. Right until I start eating crap again!"

My detox journey started with very poor health and near death of my son 25 years ago and it has continued to be refined since. As I learn, I grow in action and confidence in my ability and trust in my body.

My latest detox efforts were for my life-threatening illnesses and I had to do major detox for survival

But it wasn't enough.

I was amazed that the human body is capable of recovering from so much destruction. 

But my biggest surprise is that I had no idea I was strong enough to step up and conquer.
