As disciples of Jesus, we are exhorted to exercise faithfulness in all things, so that we stay ready for the Lord’s return.

As disciples of Jesus, we find our communal identity and mission in covenantal relationship with God.

A restored people and place are coming through Jesus Christ, for all people and places.

God confronts us at the center of our selfishness with warnings of his wrath to come so that we might hunger his Word above all.

Believe it or not, judgement on the unrighteous will 
be fully executed; yet in His mercy, God executes wrath in a way that salvages a hope and a remnant among His covenent people.

God desires worship that produces justice and righteousness rather than meaningless religious show.

God is sovereign over nature and humanity, and establishment of righteousness on the inside, flows outward to justice for all people.

When God, out of His mercy, allows difficulty on His people, it is to cause them to turn from their sinful worship back to Him, before it is too late.

Common sense, equity, humanitarianism and a culture of honor become foreign to God’s people when they adopt the moral standards of the godless culture around them.

As divine judgement visits God’s own people, they will either become the products of fiery refinement, or be consumed in fiery wrath.
