Dev has over 15+ years of experience across different areas within the media content business - from producing & financing original content for all leading OTT & Pay TV platforms to marketing of films & branded entertainment to celebrity management across organizations like Star, Viacom18, Balaji, Reliance, Cosmos-Maya among others; he has had the good fortune to dabble across the different aspect of the media business.
In his last role as the Chief Growth Officer at Cosmos-Maya & he was instrumental in getting content commissioning deals worth $100+ Million, across 25 TV series globally, with 5000+ episodes. The studio grew from a 30 member team to a 1000+ during my tenure there. He has also been able to build a strong international network across the digital monetization value-chain and have sold content in 120+ countries & also launched YouTube network with 35 channels and 90 Million+ cumulative subscribers & 50 Billion+ views.
With all those learnings, he is now focussing all my energies on the Creator Economy and am working towards building an AI powered scalable, structured and long-tail driven value proposition driven Creator Tech Product to bring about a meaningful & significant change in this business. His belief in & regard for the 'Creator Economy' stems from my love for content creation, and have also dabbled into creating my his own poetry vlog, which is yet another attempt at exploring the beauty & newer dimensions of languages, while he also enjoys writing prose, a lot.
