Finding the best way to connect with athletes is a proven method to cultivate the finest performance out of them. If you genuinely invest in the person first, then the results on the court will come. I proposed this line of thinking to John Mosley, Jr. the Head Men's Basketball Coach at East Los Angeles College. He joined me this week to discuss how to build a positive relationship with players on and off the court to ensure they fully develop as both players and people.
