Deviance Welcome

This week we give you a little insight into what made us the musicians we are today.  We'll pack as much background as we can pack into 30 min about just what kind of music lead us to be the metalheads we are today!

HOLY SHIT, THAT ACTUALLY JUST HAPPENED!!!

Today we discuss the ins and outs of the time 2021 said hold my beer to 2020. That's right! we're getting into the January 6th, attempted coup on the Capitol.  We dive deep into the people participating, what we assumed their goals to be, and the psyche behind the event Cel has affectionately dubbed, Fail Coup 2021.

It's become ever present in today's society, and especially in our country that quite literally EVERY subject can and will be tied to a political bias, making it virtually impossible to reach a healthy compromise on any issue.  Guns, education, racism, police brutality, presidential antics, etc. it never seems to end, and we're left to wonder, does everything have to be political these days? In this week's episode we dive deep into wether or not people can have discussions about societal issues without making them political.

In this week's episode, we take a bit to get to know our favorite, guitarist, vocalist, engineer and dreaded white dude, Cel.  He's one half of our operation here at Volatile Patience, and it's high time we sat him in the hot seat to ask some hard hitting questions and get down to the nitty and the gritty of the question: Who is Cel?

Okay, okay, Jason may not suck in the literal sense, but let's be real here, neither the dude, his mom, or the EMT that pretended to be him belong on my network TV channels during Halloween.  In this week's episode, Jon and Cel tear off on why Jason marathons shouldn't be anywhere near my TV during our favorite programming month of the year!

In this episode we will discuss just what the hell Volatile Patience and Deviance Welcome means and we'll have some good spirited and potentially offensive fun along the way!  We'll take a deep dive in to the philosophy behind our chosen band and podcast titles, letting you in on what it means to us, and what we hope it'll mean to you because we didn't pick them out of a random book, we chose them for a reason.

And so it begins......... admittedly with a ton of fuck ups!  We made our first attempt at a podcast episode today just getting our feet wet and feeling it out.  This episode tries to explain what kinds of things you can expect from Deviance Welcome with quite a few blooper reel worthy antics along the way!
