We are going to show you how to retrofit any battery operated device to operate off of a DC power supply. Of course the device will have to be stationary or in a fixed position – not a battery powered toy car, etc…

In this show we will adopt a battery ring light – the RotoLight. This device works really well but it eats up batteries, so I decided to modify it to run off of a DC power pack that I had laying around. This is a very hands on show!

He always loved math and creating, and took many awards in math competitions as a kid. A few years ago,he made the Jewish Timeline (www.odyeda.com/en) infographic, which since then became main stream – and de-facto The Timeline being used all over the world to study Jewish chronology. It’s being used by schools, by the Hebrew University and also shown in some exhibitions (eg – it’s shown in the Bible City – Jerusalem). But how to separate them on a drive? By software? Nope, it’s too complicated! Hardware encryption engine

The EZ610 is design with hardware encryption engine. It’s working without software or driver is required. So it can work on multiple operation systems including Microsoft® Windows, Apple® OS X, Linux, Android and Chrome. The hardware encryption engine protects the entire files store on secured partition. It’s impossible to read and write the data on secured partition, if removing the hard drive from EZ610 and put the hard drive on a normal enclosure or even connect to computer SATA port directly.

The EZ610S will separate the disk space to one public partition and one secured partition by 50/50 of total capacity. After password setting, then computer will only recognize public partition when USB plug into the host. It does allow typing the password at the time hard drive idle. And if the password is correct then secured partition will appear properly.

I was very disappointed with the EZ610S, it did not work as advertised, and the manufacturer never responded to any of my questions.

Welcome to The Gadget Professor Show #287 hosted by Don Baine.(http://thegadgetprofessor.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2017/02/cups.jpg) These aluminum cups were popular in the 1940s and ’50s in the same settings where today plastic is the number one material of choice: barbecues, parties and picnics.The two main manufacturers of aluminum tumblers were Sunburst and the Italian company Bascal. The cups came in bright colors – purple, pink, red, blue, silver and a variety of other hues. The aluminum was anodized – a process that protects aluminum from oxidation, increases wear resistance, and promotes color retention. Still, these cups are not recommended for dishwashers, as their colors will fade faster than with hand washing.With their humble size, these cups are a bit out-dated for today’s soda lovers. They hold a mere 11 oz of liquid. The current 7-11 Super Gulp measures a mammoth 64 fluid oz. You can still find the originals in antique stores, flee markets, and on Ebay. I still have a big sweet spot for these delightful cups in my childhood memories – a constant source of joy!
