Week 1 of Change Your World

Week 8 of Firm Foundation

If we are to be formed into the image of Jesus and to do as He did, we must do so in community. This week, Pastor Jay Stovall from Portrait Church in Redlands, CA preached an insightful message on the power of living in community. Community that is committed to the mess of a shared life and committed to reaching messy people who need the presence of God. This message is Week 7 of our "Firm Foundation" discipleship & vision series.

The process of accessing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit often looks very ordinary. We do so through the practices of Jesus and the spiritual disciplines. But as we commit to this ordinary work, God is able to do an extraordinary work in and through us. This message is Week 6 of our "Firm Foundation" discipleship & vision series.

Deep down, we all have a desire to grow or improve. But we are surrounded by an overwhelming amount of conflicting teachings on how to do so. Join us for Week 5 of our "Firm Foundation" series as we take a look at how the teachings we take in either consume us or transform us. Rather than be consumed by narratives found in our culture, we must be transformed by the teaching found in the Word of God.

As followers of Jesus, we are invited into His mission. In other words, we are invited to do what Jesus did. Join us for Week 4 of our "Firm Foundation" series, as we dive into how we can join Jesus in the work He is doing in our cities and in our world.

We are all being formed into something, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Join us for Week 3 of our "Firm Foundation" series, as we take a look at how we can become increasingly like Jesus, through the process of intentional spiritual formation.

What does it look like to "be with Jesus" in 2024? Join us for Week 2 of our "Firm Foundation" series as we take a look at this question and discuss how a life of abiding with Jesus and being guided by the Holy Spirit can transform us into people of love; both love for God and love for others.
