Today we launch our new partnership with Compassion focusing on the island of Alor in Indonesia and the work of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. 

Today we begin a month of missions with our Beyond Us program hearing about the  confronting but transformational work of Destiny Rescue. 

If the Christian race is a marathon not a sprint, how do we ensure that we finish well and pass our faith on to the next generation?  

Amongst all the competing voices that endeavour to form us as  people, will we allow the Scriptures to form us and confront us? All Scripture is God breathed and useful. 

 How do we keep following Jesus and making disciples when life gets difficult, distractions multiply, and pressures come from both inside and outside the church?  Keep running. Stay faithful. Don’t drop the baton.  

The Gospel was never meant to stop with us.

The Apostle Paul in his final writing to a young Timothy exhorts him to guard the good deposit of the gospel that he received. Before you can pass it on to others you have to guard it yourself. 

Every one of us is investing somewhere. Every week, every pay cycle, every purchase is shaping our heart and telling a story about what matters most. Let's choose to invest in what lasts - treasures in heaven.
