We must be merciful to others who are living sinfully. Of course none of us by nature are merciful, it’s hard work to become this way. But God promises mercy to those who are merciful and who’s hearts are aligned with Him.

We must get to the point where we are hungry after righteousness not the things of this world. Hunger is not a passing feeling, it grows until it is satisfied, and that’s how we must be about righteousness until the day comes when we all get to Heaven with Jesus.

The first two beatitudes have been what we need to work at on the inside, but now we will focus on the inside. Meekness is about how you interact with others, mainly how you respond to them. We all have the opportunity to be rude and negative to others but we need to be set apart and treat people with kindness so that they may see our light through Jesus.

The first step to realize you’re nothing without God is key to doing this next step. Spiritual Mourning is very important I order to grow with the Lord.

What are Beatitudes you may ask? This series goes into details as to what they mean and how to apply them in life. There are a total of 8 beatitudes, and you must grasp this first one because if you don’t you won’t get the rest.
