#517 What’s Really Under Our Excuses?     Bible Quiz; Who was the very first one to start the excuse game?  You know that uncanny ability we have to point to something or someone else as being the reason we can’t or don’t want to do something.  I’ll bet you guessed it, it was Adam, in the garden.  Ever wonder how many objections to His will, the Lord has to listen to every day?  This may surprise you to know that as far as giving excuses is concerned, Moses was actually pretty good at it.  Now, what would you say is really under our excuses?  Let’s talk about it right now … 

#516 Speaking for God.    Today we pick things up with Moses and God conversing. Moses is being called into service, he is being given a job to do.  However Moses has questions and is seeing potential problems with his personal ability to deal with what he is being asked to do.  I guess you could say Moses here sounds just like one of us when we see the will of God and compare it to our own abilities.  Is there an answer for Moses and an answer for you and for me in such situations?  Let’s get to the discussion, right now.

#512 Is Your Heart Open to Know God?     God has revealed Himself to Moses.  Moses is now on a mission with very specific marching orders to deliver God's people out of Egypt and bring them to the Promised Land. He knows he will be questioned regarding; by what name or authority are you doing these things? Moses like you and like me must know the God who has called us out of a life lived for self and not on mission for Him to share his gospel and His love with everyone.  So by what Name and authority are you walking in daily… 

#511 God is the Self Existing One. When you pray, when you speak the word 'God' who exactly are you speaking to and about, I mean aren't there many gods around the world that are spoken about and prayed to?  But who is the One True living God, The Creator, the Sovereign overall God, and what is his name?  Good discussion coming up, now….

#510 God says: I will certainly be with you.     Ever face a task and feeling lost in that you were alone to accomplish it?  Maybe a work assignment with a short time fuse, or some home alone matter that fell into the category of overwhelming?  Such things come to everyone of us.  Yet the Believer can count on this; God is with you, so you are never alone.  Let’s consider that right now….  

# 509 God Can Use The Humble.    Pride is listed as a deadly sin, one that brings Gods resistance.  It keeps a person from hearing the wisdom of God, and from the response of obedience. Humility results in quite the opposite.  Who does God use in His kingdom?  Consider this, God might just be waiting to hear you say - Who Am I, that You should use my life?  Because His response to this is likely to be; good, now I have someone I can work with.  Let’s talk about this very important subject.  

#508 Holy Moments In Normal Events. When I say, ‘holy’, what place or situation comes to mind?  How about this; It can be anywhere and anyplace you connect with, call on and invite God into the every day of your life. With this, holiness is near and gives normal living a whole new perspective. Let’s consider today the ordinary found holy because God is there in it with you.
