Believers have the opportunity for an everyday companion.  One who is All Wise, All Present, All Powerful, and All Loving.  You guessed it, it is the Lord Himself.  And when you stop think about it, why would we want to leave Him out of anything we say or do, and that everyday?  

What is God's will for my life;  One of the most often asked questions regarding the Christian life.  So is there a way to find it, a way to walk in it?  Let's talk about that today.  

God has a job for you!  A planned out part for each of us to fulfill.  And the Lord brings us His ever faithful word so that we can have all that we need to get the job done. So each believer is already enrolled in His school of good works.  

Supposed you were called on to do something that you had never done before, say climb a mountain, how would you begin to prepare?  You might start with a book on mountain climbing, or speaking to an expert on the subject.  Now, what if the task before you is to walk with God?  You are going to need both a book and the Expert on life which would be God Himself and His book of  instructions called, you got it, the Bible.

Do you know the joy of jumping into a swimming pool on a hot day, it really is something to immerse yourself into what can so refresh you?  Such is the word of God, the Bible, His love letter to us, it is alive, refreshing, comforting and challenging, it is powerful all on its own, and in it we hear the voice and heart of God. 

There is a friend, who loves you, who wants to speak to you everyday, who wants you with Him in eternity, with all that is eternally good.  Have you read His love letter to you lately, regularly, devotionally?  His word to you is the Bible, in it is what He thinks, what is in His heart for you.  Speak Lord, I Am Listening. 

Who can you share your heart with?  And who can truly share their heart with you?  This is the true bedrock of a genuine relationship.  And catch this, we can have this with God. Our sharing our hearts with Him and His sharing His heart with us.  

Here is an exciting thought, that the things we do today, the very way in which we live today reaches into the future, in fact into eternity, and not only our own eternity but into the lives and eternity of those God has placed around us to know and to love. 

With so very many distractions in our world, with so many things to take up our thought life, where should we be intentionally setting our focus?  For we Believer, what should be the great attention grabber for our lives?
