#541 The NAME Above All Names.    Jesus told His disciples to pray in His name.  So, oh how precious is the Lord's name in our lives!  Every believer holds the name of Jesus very dear, He is wonderful, and His name holds first place in our hearts.  The bible declares that Jesus has been given the Name above all names, the name at which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. With this, let’s get into the 3rd commandment right now….          

#540 Only God Himself Will Do! Ever heard the expression; That thing is not real its a ‘knock off.” This term is used for something that is made to look like the real thing, but it isn’t, it’s a fake. What about when it comes to God, I mean really and truly God, the One True Living God, accept no substitute, no stand in, no knock off, Only god Himself will do. Let’s give this some thought, right now….

#539 No One Above YOU!     Today let’s start with a couple of questions.  First, how do you feel about following hard and fast rules?  Here is another one, who are what holds the place of highest priority in your life?  I venture to say that most folks don't like strict rules and regulations governing their lives.  However what if those rules came from an All Knowing, All Powerful, All Present Being that loves you dearly and longs to see you blessed?  Let's dig into this right now, shall we?           

#538 The Moral Code In Each of Us.    Here is something we expect, that manufacturers include instructions on most of the items we purchase. Some instructions even include a number to call if additional help is needed. Now God, our Maker, has given to us the best instruction book of all, the Bible. And when it comes to conscience, and morals, you guessed it, instructions have been included.  Let’s talk about this, right now…      

#537 Riding Atop Eagle’s Wings.    How kindly the Lord deals with us, He calls us to Himself. He calls us His own precious treasure, and draws us ever closer in relationship with HIm.  How are we to respond to this so great an invitation?  One not based on our doing, on our earning, but one based on what Christ has done for us.  On Him is where we place our faith.  Let’s get into it right now….  

#536 There Is Enough Time In Your Day to Accomplish God’s Will.    A really big deal in our busy lives these days is, time management.  And since we know that God is interested and involved with each of our days, have you checked in with Him lately for His will in your life? You just might find some things that He would reorganize for our good and benefit. Moses had to come to such a conclusion.  Let’s talk about just how God rearranged his time management. 

#535 The Reason We Follow Instructions.    Life is an exercise of, did you follow instructions or not?  What do I mean?  Someone has called the Bible: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, and that is not too far off.  You see, God our maker has given to us instructions for living, instructions for blessings now and into eternity.  Which leaves us with, am I following instructions or not?  It seems some honest self examination can be in order, a kind of looking in the mirror and asking your reflection, what is your life all about?  Let’s talk, right now….    

#534 Life’s Instruction Book.    Who remembers the saying; When all else fails read the instructions?  Very valuable truth is given to us in that little saying.  How about this one; Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding?  This instruction is precious to our lives, especially in light of Who this instruction is coming from.  It comes from God, and when followed, hazards are avoided. How great that God comes through with instructions made for our blessing. Let’s talk….  

#533 Our God Truly Satisfies.    There are so many things in life that can disappoint, that can challenge and test our faith. Particularly things that we think might satisfy us but then we find that they do not, in fact many things in life are found to bring us bitterness.  How can God help us in these times?  Let’s talk now on this so very important matter. 

#532 Journal What God Has Done for You.    Can you bring to mind some victories in your life?  Hard times faced when you didn't know what might come next yet somehow God pulled you through? Maybe you struggled with a sickness, or a money issue or family matters yet in the end it all worked together for the good?  Did you stop and give thanks, perhaps note it somewhere?  Let's consider life victories and how we react to them right now….
