DevVv Talks

One of my favorite producers I've discovered in the last couple of years passed away last week. Garrett Lockhart better known by his stage name I_O was an influential house DJ that I will always remember was being the guy who could be seen lighting up a cig before his sets. He has songs that are driven by impactful downbeats like "Another Level" "Violence ft Grimes" and "Ghost in the Machine" to name a few. This is a channel that celebrates beautiful souls and he was a definitely one of them.

This episode is sponsored by www.devvvmusic.com the one stop shop for everything DevVv, and a place where we do things and tell people. Find merch AND information on my next couple of streams and join me over on Mixcloud all month celebrating a few different things. If you haven't checked out the previous episodes "The Gay Highlander" and "Better Pizza. Better Ingredients. Racism." are all available where you listen to podcasts. LIKE + SUBSCRIBE = LOVE.

This weeks episode we will be hanging out in the POLITICAL corner and STORYTELLING corner as we dive deep into the early rumblings of a post Trump America and brag on our companions every co-host has on the show, DOGS.

The Political Corner + The Storytelling Corner

All Music produced by I_O and mixed by DevVv except the last song which is "Asteroid" by Zeds Dead.

Getting old is one thing. Getting old in the US is a whole different beast. You're pushed and pulled until you end up in depression, or you become a little crazy. We ended up on the crazy side. Listen in to our 30 year old antics about aging and see if you can hear our bones breaking behind the mics! Enjoy music by Brondo, Aventure Club, Jalaya, Korn, Ray Volpe, Kevin Gates, and Kompany!

Square up. There was a huge fight in this episode. Some big red white dude fell asleep catching some mega Z's from vanilla sex the previous night. His best friend decides now is the time to tell him how he really feels. The big red dudes wife intercepts the messages intended for her husband and they subsequently have a war of words over who loves the big red dude(my co-host) most. White people are weird...

Also enjoy a live DJ mix from yours truly featuring artists like $uicideboy$, Fabian Mazur, Jack Harlow, Ke$ha, Janelle Monae, Dominus, DevVv, J. Balvin, and Illenium!

Happy 20th episode!!!! This one is PACKED start to finish with jokes, honesty, politics, weed talk, and apparently the White Devil. I had the privilege of being joined by a few of my most passionate friends who have taken me in during a time of need. Seriously, I was about to be homeless in Washington if these friends hadn't stepped in and lent a helping hand. I picked their brains on how life is as a white person pro black lives, who they voted for and why, how they feel about the current election results, and how we can become a better society. You can also expect 2 live DJ mixes mixed by DevVv and this episode has its first sponsor! Find your next set of merch at www.devvvmusic.com! Theres a special thank you at the very end! Come join us!

Its been 19 episodes and no features...feelin a lot like a J. Cole album out here and I didn't like it SO I hit up a friend who is a sports FANATIC, and an LA native to debate the newest sports topic: The Lakers NBA Championship. Is Lebron the Best? Is that disrespectful to Michael? Do stats matter in terms of the old physical NBA vs the new shooter happy NBA? Can we even debate this topic? We gave it a shot and even included a live DJ mix at the end featuring In10se's amazing new track "Never Preach" as well as music from popular artists like Billie Eilish, Bonnie X Clyde, G. Jones, Clozee, TVBOO, A$AP Rocky, Chance the Rapper, and Machine Gun Kelly!

Alex is one half of the amazing sports podcast dedicated to MAC news called "The College Sports Connection" and can be found on Spotify! They've invited coaches of various sports throughout the Midwest in to chat about what drives athletes and coaches to such lengths in both losses and wins. They're professional, timely, and really know how to drive a conversation to new heights.

The epic conclusion of "The Move" series is here everyone. Strap in, get ready to laugh, get ready to think, and get ready to hate on IPA's because we have a theory as to how they were originally created. Too many fuckin hops. And as always a fantastic guest mix by yours truly DJ DevVv. Enjoy!

Its been 4 weeks since the last episode, and we have a lot to catch you up on. One Co-host experienced a category 4 hurricane, one co-host moved over 2,000 miles.
