James Madison defensive lineman Adeeb Atariwa and defensive back D’Angelo Amos transferred to Virginia

South Carolina State defensive lineman Roderick Perry transferred to Illinois.

Pittsburgh defensive lineman Jaylen Twyman has opted-out and will prepare for the draft

Miami defensive end Gregory Rousseau has opted-out and will prepare for the draft

Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons has opted-out and will prepare for the draft

Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley has opted-out and will prepare for the draft. He was the 1st college player to opt-out.

Clemson defensive end Xavier Thomas expected to redshirt this season, due to loss of weight. Contracted Covid-19 in early spring and then strep throat.

Oklahoma linebacker Caleb Kelly suffered a knee injury and will miss the season.

What is our outlook on Clemson’s incoming #1 freshman DT, Bryan Bresee?
Darrell - Was #1 overall recruit in 2020 by 247 Sports Composite. 1st thing that stands out is his size. He’s a man among boys in these high school games. At 6’5” / 290 lbs he has the frame to play both inside or outside. Very strong and powerful. Displays some quick hands and 1st step quickness. Will be a huge jump in competition for him. The toolbox
is somewhat limited due to not being challenged enough on the field.
