Faith is integral in our relationship with God. Faith is not a feeling or emotion. Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. It is a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.

An amazing part of walking in the Spirit is the love of God. His love still amazes me. To think that the Creator of the universe loved me so much to send His Son for me astounds me. The Apostle Paul reminds us of God's love in this passage of Scripture. He reminds us by showing us, 1. God is for us, 2. We are not condemned, and 3. We are more than conquerors.

As Paul is continuing his discourse on the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, in these next verses, he tells us how the Spirit continues to help us. As we walk this life, we need the comfort and help of the Spirit. He is the One who keeps us going, even in the tough times.

Paul continues his discussion on living in and by the Spirit of God. The beginning of verse 12, "So then, brothers," is simply an indication of further thought on the subject matter of life in the Spirit. Paul gives us several reasons why we should keep walking in the Spirit and moms are to lead the way and leave a legacy of "being led by the Spirit."

Living for Christ can become difficult at times if we do not know how or why we are serving Him. Paul is writing to the Romans to tell them of their life in the Spirit. What we, as men, need to remember is we are people of the Spirit and now live a life in the Spirit.

Acts 1:8 says we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. This word power can mean ability. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to serve God in every avenue of our lives. Let us examine what living with power or ability from the Holy Spirit means.

Such power that came from God to rest upon His people. The day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit arrived, changed the landscape of Christianity. The disciples were changed, the church began, and we can be changed today. The power that came with the Holy Spirit still is viable today. He, the Holy Spirit, has not changed. There were three things which happened that day, unity-out of which came the wind, fire, and tongues as the Holy Spirit directed. Today we look at Unity.
