Jesus is preparing to celebrate the Passover with the disciples for the last time. He knows what is about to happen and He wants to be with them one more time. He sends them to prepare for the Passover. The significance of the Passover must never be lost on believers in Christ today. Let us look at the Passover and how it affects us today.

Jesus is King! He is Savior of the world! Have you accepted Him? When Jesus enters a life, He turns it upside down. He begins to clean out what is useless and unnecessary. Jesus is here to turn you life upside down. Here is how you can let Him in your life to do this:

In order to accomplish what God has given us, we need the power of the Holy Spirit. this power is available from the Holy Spirit. There are three ways we are to use this power.

The Day of Pentecost was a significant day for the church. The Promise f the Father came, the Holy Spirit, to move in men and women's lives as promised by Jesus. Pentecost was the second of the annual harvests festivals, coming 50 days after Passover. The Holy Spirit came to empower the followers of Christ for effective service.

In this last sermon in our Love and Family series, I want us to examine the love of Christ. When Jesus walked on this earth, He gave fully of Himself and exhibited the love of God. In this passage of Scripture that we have read, we see how Christ taught His disciples, which extends to us, the way we are to live in the love of God.

Aw...February, the month of love, or so we are told. Why do you celebrate love this month? Is it because society tells us to with the promotion of cards and candy? Why just celebrate this month? What about God's love? I believe if we, as believers in Christ, would truly show God's love always, more people would come and accept Christ. Let's look at God's love.
