On April 30th, I stood once again at the edge of the Grand Harbour in Valletta, surrounded by a sea of people, all of us waiting in quiet anticipation. It was the final night of the Malta International Fireworks Festival—an event that, even after years of tradition, still manages to feel like something entirely new every time the first spark hits the sky.

As the sun dipped below the limestone buildings and the evening breeze swept through the harbour, a hush fell over the crowd. Then, without warning, the sky exploded.

But this wasn’t just noise and color. This was storytelling through fire.

I’ve seen fireworks before—countless times—but what struck me here was the emotional weight of it all. This was a celebration, yes, but it also felt like a tribute. Non so voi ma non ero mai stato dentro al Duomo di Milano, davanti parecchie volte, ma entrarci l'ho sempre considerata una "follia", più che altro perché ogni volta trovavo code infinite e mi passava immediatamente la voglia. Un paio di giorni fa però il pessimo tempo mi è stato d'aiuto, zero persone ad attendere di entrare, quindi con mia moglie abbiamo deciso di farci un giro al suo interno, inoltre lei era da anni che non si recava nella metropoli lombarda, dunque ne abbiamo approfittato, tra l'altro cifra abbordabile, 7 euro a testa. Tra simboli esoterici, vetrate spettacolari, statue di ogni tipo, quadri e poca gente abbiamo passato una mezz'ora al suo interno. Avevamo la possibilità di visitare anche la balconata e la cripto ma purtroppo avevamo poco tempo a nostra disposizione, sicuramente sarà per la prossima!

Ethereum sembra stare raggiungere i 2K ed è sempre più protagonista grazie anche al BOOM degli NFT nonostante la "questione fees" che non permette ai pesciolini di poter operare in libertà su molte piattaforme.
